Introduction of new PNs caters for the popular Toyota Hilux pick-up trucks.
DENSO has added three new part numbers to its Starters range, increasing its vehicle coverage to benefit drivers, workshops and distributors.
The new part numbers deliver new applications for the iconic Toyota pickup truck, the Toyota Hilux. The updates fill the gaps in its Toyota starter coverage, with a special focus on highly demanded Hilux diesel applications.
Currently the world’s largest OE rotating machine manufacturer, DENSO starters deliver some of the most powerful outputs in engines compared to starters of similar sizes and weights.
With the three new part numbers added to its Starter line-up, its alternator and starter range now totals 395, with 143 of these parts being Starters. With these additions, the range now covers 6,287 applications split across 3,044 alternators and 3,243 starters.
DENSO’s OE expertise continues to provide aftermarket customers with the highest quality parts, developed and tested to the highest standards. Its Starters are designed to ensure powerful performance to drivers while reducing fuel consumption.
As engine efficiencies improve, and CO2 and WLTP requirements become more stringent, the increased fuel efficiency offered by DENSO’s starter technology will prove even more vital to drivers across Europe.
Andrew Hill, Product Manager for DENSO Automotive UK, commented: “The extension to the Starters product range will give workshops and distributors the ability to offer an increased number of high-quality DENSO products to drivers of popular vehicles like the Toyota Hilux.”
As of July 2018 the new parts can be found on the DENSO E-catalogue and Tecdoc.
